So, the US Government finally uses that "Goliath Serum" from Venture Brothers.

Here's something else interesting... maybe they're related?

It serves the fromgs right for stealing Fire from the Gods in the first place.

Edit: I saw this today and thought it cool in a similar vein to exploding frogs:

In short: It's a new form of malaria that restarts your heart a couple of hours after you die of it (and boy, do you ever die of it; 100% fatality in 2 days) and you start acting crazy becaue of some chemical or other.

I'm not wholly convinced it's real, though, to be honest. If you replace the numeric IP with bbc.co.uk it gives a 404.

Edit: Apparently, the IP inthe URL reverse-resolves to baserape.com, whatever that is. (I'm sure as hell not looking at it.) It's a good story, though.

Yeah it's gotta be fake. I search the BBC and there is no mention of a place called Quan'sul at all, let alone with zombies.

It could just be a coverup. baserape.com probably archived the content before the Government made the BBC take it down.

OH GOD ZOMBIES?!!! *whips out emergency zombie beating bat and begins beating random roommates senseless*
...oh wait, they're just hung over.
yeah I'm calling bullshit. that doesn't sound like a bbc article. for one thing it mentions Condi but makes no mention of a British offical.

Because crows are intelligent, it is quite beliveable: If the local crows have developed a taste for toad liver, they will quickly learn the technique from each other, once discovered.

It's also too short, and it makes the unforgivable mistake of refering to Malaria as a "parasite". The fake writer didn;t even get their science right. Come on, that's the FOUNDATION of a good zombie idea. One that is firmly rooted in either hard science or magic, or one that is completely ambiguous as to it's cause (ala George Romero).

generally the links on the right of a bbc news article link to related stories. So it's safe to say that Laos is in lebanon now. or syria.

I know it's probably a hoax, but what's sad is I want to believe.
