While this is a nifty little bit of double standard, at the time LC did his comic we didn't know for sure Boby was a troll. He could have actually been a suicidal person. But that second thread lil' Boby started kind sealed the deal and it was open season on his sorry ass. If LC had been making fun of a troll I wouldn't mind at all, but he was making fun of a suicidal man at the time. Either way we can all agree that Boby sucks the big one. Shall we get the fire extinguisher now or wait until it's really needed?

To be fair, it was pretty much obviously just someone fucking around with a random text generator, wasn't it? No-one would post a 'Im going to kill myself' topic as their first post on a board about webcomics, for god's sake.

It was painfully obvious to me outright.

And I disagree with everyone.

These forums are as much a place for satire and cutting discourse as anything. We should be encouraging the generation of challenging media, not stifling them for dubious moral comfort.
