As a fellow European who has the misfortune to code financial system I appreciate where Stolle is coming from.

Not "everyone" uses a , to separate thousands or a '.' to signify a decimal place.

Some "wacky" countries have em round the other way just to confuse us all.

Speaking of hits, since this thread got started my hit counter must've broken, but before it did we were averaging over 1000 htis a day!

*inahles deeply*

You smell that? That's the smell of a happy webcomic.

After having had the difference explained to me... In some other thread that has probably long ago been pruned now... I tend to look at the number of visits more than the number of hits... is interesting that what everyone counts is the hit rate... was wondering if anyone could give their reasons for this...
Warning: this poster is addicted to ellipses...

I have a web comic called Tears of Eternity if you don't look you'll never know if you would have liked it.

When someone says hits 90% of the time they mean visits.

*hits everyone in the thread*
I remember caring... It was nice.

I always thought the visit rate was more interesting as well. Plus, I'm not sure why people would interchange the two, either...

In my case, 130 visits seems more reasonable that 1900 hits. Now, 10,000 visits a day would be insanely impressive ^^.

Heh, I got a bunch of extra hits today...unfortunately it turns out that was because another comic discovered I accidentally stole their name today. Whoops.

Which also means The Zoo's probably in for a name change in the near future.

Ok, ok I'll be happy for you, it always feels good when whichever number it is you watch raises up into the next order of magnitude...

Although I think you should do your own being happy really, I'm not all that good at it
