About my Webcomic Banner....

Post by Prettysenshi »

Hello people of the Keenspace forums. I was wondering how to add my banner to my webcomic's description when people are browsing thru the Keenspace Guide. I've tried putting in the URL, but that never seems to work, so I'm pretty sure that I'm doing something wrong. Help a girl out, and tell me what I did wrong, and what I can do to show my banner.

Thanks a bunch.
Later.

I had this same problem. However, upon searching through the FAQ I found that you go to siteadmin, and the add banner thingie. And in the space you put in /public_html/images/banner.jpg (after you've put your banner in the images folder). Then from what I can tell you just have to wait a little while for your banner to be activated.

I'm not totally sure (I just did this today), but I'm hoping that will put it in the keenspace guide.

Esiver is correct.

One thing to keep in mind, though: your banner needs to be the exact right size to appear in the guide (Width: 468 pixels, Height: 60 pixels).

This is what you do. Also, you can put in multiple banners (with different names), and it will show a random one each time someone looks at the guide. For example, for "Theelven", there are 3 possible banners that will show up if you look at it in the guide.
