Reporting that while siteadmin and ftp now work she's having another different problem. I appear to be having the same problem as sarasoji.

Here's what's happening with me. Clicking on the first button gives me a 404 error - not found. I can't even find a previous button that goes to a comic before 3/12/05. However if I type in the address (piresaway.keenspace.com/d/date) I can get to the comics albeit slowly. I have a small calendar on my index page and while March shows up fine apparently the only other month is December. Also the big_calendar tag on my archive page appears to be completely screwed up. I ought to have it going back to March '04 but what I see is "March 40" "April 40" and "December 50" followed by a March '05.

Any guidance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I at least know my comics are okay, but I have no clue what the domains are, and I requested a new password prolly about two days ago. I am getting alittle frustrated with it, but I guess I can understand since I'm not the only one.

Should I make another password or just wait until our fav admins attack it...? (pleasepleaseplease help! I shall draw as much fan art as my hands can muster if i can just update!)

Okay, everything is there and everything checks out okay... only I checked the password status and it said

Checking 6511 accounts
Matched 0 accounts

Additionally, I have a problem getting access to the FTP thing. Everything else works out okay.

FTP seems to be working... but did web-ftp always show the . and .. directories? Not that I'm complaining.

Things seem to be working for me now; now just the backlog to work through.

No, wait. The FTP and Log in are working; the server is clogged once again.

Is it possible that a specific comic is causing this clog?

I use Internet Explorer for all my FTP needs and

ftp:/ /doctorzaius.keenspace.com

that doesn't work anymore. However...

ftp:/ /username:password@doctorzaius.keenspace.com

DOES work. Interesting, eh?

It says "Comic Data" is ok now, but I still have problems and my site won't update. Siteadmin seems to work but no updates I do actually change anything. Here is what the check script reports now:

I am having the same problem as Anywhere but Here. Everything checks out okay, FTP works, siteadmin works, but the new comic I uploaded early yesterday evening still has not appeared.

sweet! ftp works again! Also, someone already commented on this, but the "." and ".." directories. What are they? And should I leave them there. What would happen if i deleted them?

Anyway, thanks for fixing the ftp issues... now if only the updating was working.... no rush, though. I'm sure you guys are very very busy and I will have that fan art ready as soon as i can update again.

. = current directory. Deleting it would delete the whole directory you are currently in, if it let you. If you deleted the one at the / level, it would delete your entire comic website, workspace and public_html both.

.. = parent directory. Deleting it would delete spacetime, causing everything to cease existing. If you deleted the one at the / level, you would delete all of the comics on KeenSpace.

I don't imagine you can do either, though. It's probably not going to let you. Don't, by the way. Leave them there.

Username is sixbyninecollege, it says my comic status is all okay EXCEPT it says "domains NOT OK, missing." I can FTP but nothing is updating.

Can log-in on site maintenece (although it's been wonky on and off) and FTP, but no updates go through. Comic status is all OKs

Uh...I logged into my comic admin just fine...but, the admin isn't mine. Its for a comic called "Makeshift Mimicry" It lists the author as Ivan Brochu
My comic is called "The Makeshift Theater Brigade" and I'm Elton Edgar.
When I check my comic status it gives me this:

The siteadmin functions are back up, allowing me to enter into update field, etc. However, the first time I try to update, either by selecting one of three options to do so, the site drops me out to the error page that I am not yet logged in. The second time of trying to update goes through.

As for the checking the comic status, the username and the comic data are ok, but it says that the domain is not ok, missing. Any help in the matter will be appreciated.
