[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

Okay, this is just TOO MUCH...

Is wrestling fake/fixed? In most leagues, yes. Our church once had an ex-pro wrestler (Mexican AAA) that told us that before the match, EVERYONE reviewed their "script".

Maybe not EVERY match is like that. Count the bruises at the end of the match. If they are real, then it was real. If not, you can bet it was staged.

"You can't fake gravity", said Andre the Giant. Sure, but if you land flat on your back on a PADDED surface, you can't get more "staged" than that.

Well don't read it then.

If that IS Thelma.... :o ...I think Hortense is gonna have a stroke......right after Tuck has his!

HOWEVER.......THEY MUST NOT LET HER SEE THEM!!!!!

If she knows they're there, it could totally blow her concentration and if she's taking a fall (NOT a "dive") and distracted by their presence, she could get seriously hurt for real.

GUYS..(and gal)...for her sake.....stay the hell in the back of the arena until the match is over!!!!

NICE!!!

Studio wrestling might be staged here in the US, but it still takes considerable athletic ability to do some of the things they do without killing one another.

I agree the guys should lay low and not let out Thelma's "secret" although I can't wait to see Hortense's reaction. I don't think thelma can be more liberated than beating the tar out of males three times her size! :D

/cheer!!!! ^_^ Oh MAN I hope that's Thelma...Nothing like some good ol' butt whooping to make you feel good! But it seems to "obvious" to be Thelma..what if it's a cousin she meet or a distant relative that saw her photo at the photo shoot...What if the shoot was to find new faces for wrestling?...And what's up with the dark hair above the mask? Isn't Thelma a blondie? And what about...*goes on muttering about various things... you know..like taking over the world and dominating men with ice cream. Innocent stuff like that*

Obviously Tuck (and us) misunderstood what the photo shoot was for in the first place and it explains Thelma's excitement about going. Wasn't there a strip earlier where she says she likes wrestling (way back)?

And if I was Tuck I don't think I would ever get Thelma mad at me.

There are two such strips. One in which Tuck takes her out to see a match, and one in which she demonstrates to that otter musician that she's learned a lot from watching wrestling.

...So, yeah, I'm sure that's our Thelma in that Ring. And I can't wait to see how she got in there...

Hey, here's a thought. Maybe the photographer tried to get Thelma into an itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny type bikini, and a recruiter for the wrestling program saw the resulting carnage.

[This concludes silly ideas theatre.]

I am laughing madly (even though the questions of what happened at the beauty contest and why Thelma lied about where she was are still open) and can't wait to see the explanation of what happened on the way.

Yep. Should've realized after what she did to Toober that any slime who tried to con her with a fake beauty contest would've ended up tied in a bowline knot. The wig is no surprise; part of being masked. The wrestling 'plot' will reveal her after a while, I'd think, if she becomes a good guy. Gal. Whatever.

With any luck, Thelma will have been able to whup enough posterior in the ring that she won't be too upset with Tuck, when he gets around to apologising.

Did she lie? She said she was going to be in the big calendar shoot, which still may be true. The "Ladies of Wrestling" calendar.

Who said there couldn't be multiple sponsors of the original model search each lookig for different models?

I can't wait to hear how things evolved from a photo shoot to a wrestling match!
