Archive?

Post by Buddha_the_god »

I was wondering if it's possible to make a certain archive system on Keenspace, not like where all the comics are stored in calendarboxes, more like where you can put all the comics at once, because I'm starting up a comic soon with a girl and it'll be updated like with two pages every week, and I'd have the problem of updating two pages for one day, because I don't want them on the same page. I know it's possible to just upload them for different days and go around it like that, but after that comic we were hoping of keeping the same page, and that'd be a problem. I know I probably can upload an archive-esque system on public_html dir through workspace and still get all the ads that are required on every page, but from what I've heard Keenspace kicks people off after people have stopped updating for a while, so would these be counted as updates? And also, if you're allowed to do this, how would you?

Don't quote me on this, but It might be possible to have it in manually updated pages, but as long as you have enough content in your /comics folders (ie you still have to have your comics in your /comics folders)

Keenspace won't kick you out because of not updating by itself; the only time Autokeen drops a comic site is when said site is totally empty. What happens is that from time to time the administrators sweep the field for abandoned comics; it will be pretty obvious yours is not abandoned even if you turn off Autokeen.

Apart from that, I don't get what you're trying to do at all.
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.
