Hello everyone!

First let's get this out of the way - This is a 'mature' comic so before you go clicking, be advised that images and themes are adult and might be offensive or inappropiate to some.

Right, now that's out of the way, here's a little description:

Jump is a fantasy story in the sense that the supernatural is an integral part of the plot, but I like to think of it as a story about life and why people do the things they do. It is about the life of one man in particular named Ryan Lords and the Mouth, a disembodied, rotting, floating mouth that has possessed Ryan since childhood making him do very horrible things. But Ryan's life of murder and destruction is about to take a strange turn as destined events have unexpected side-effects that draw people together that never should have met. Ryan, for the first time since he can remember, is able to know what life is like with only his own voice telling him what to do. Though naturally fate also has instore for him a price for this new freedom...

And a sample of my art - a panel from an upcoming page:

Most of the comic is in b/w, but occassional splashes of color are used, not to mention a short story arc that is entirely in color.

I've just began my keenspace site (still have my gallery to get up), but all 99 pages plus covers are up and for your enjoyment. A bit of a warning, the art and presentation of the first chapter isn't as refined as the above example. But if you can get passed the dialogue that is a little too small and the sketchy images, I think you'll find an interesting and enjoyable story worth your time. Then again, that may just be me...

If this has sparked your curiousity, then head here.

Thanks to anyone who gives my story a chance.

I like the art. You do both black and white and colour well. I like the folds and shadows on the clothes in a lot of your pictures; The material looks like it has surface. I haven't read far enough into it to say much about the story yet, but you've caught my attention for awhile anyway. I will be checking out more of your archives.

The only complaint I have is that most webcomics keep their nav buttons above or below the comic. The buttons on the side threw me off for a moment. Of course I've been up since 6:00 am and I'm very tired, but you might want to see if other people have the same problem with the buttons.

Thanks alot Ian.

Funny you mention the nav buttons. I had them below before, but it dragged down the page somehow. It made the page too long. But if it is terribly problematic I'll change it. But until then... Maybe you should get some sleep?

I swear I saw this on Drunk Duck. Is there any reason why people switch between the Drunk Duck and Keenspace?

Oh yeah, good art and stuff, but a little too disturbing for me.

Wow. This is nice, and I've only read a few pages so far. In fact, it's such a refreshing change that I'm going to ignore my already throbbing head in favor of reading the tiny, tiny lettering (does it get bigger? I hope so).

Dark and tasteful for the most part, reminds me a little of Death Note (the evil genius part, must be). I only wonder why you haven't gotten two pages' worth of comments yet.

Keep up the good work. I'm going to keep reading and hope Magdalene is as interesting as Ryan is.

wp - Yes it is also on DD, it is not leaving DD, I just wanted a full website too with my extra stuff all in one place. Especially since DD has been being a bit more drunk than usual. Also, everyone has their own tastes but thanks for giving it a look anyway.

Bass Master Fei - Sorry 'bout the headache, hope you feel better, but reading tiny writing isn't going to help! The lettering gets much better. Just the first 20-30 pages is bad, or the first chapter.

Wow. Just. . . wow. I don't know what to say. The art is wonderful. Notice you had one strip in color and I didn't care for that. Your black and white strips are so much more powerful. I'm diggin' the story. This is one I'll follow.

Thank ye steverules. I've gotten that comment before about the color, and I'm generally going to stick to b/w because I do perfer it for the story, but sometimes I get bored and go a little color crazy...
