Personally I find this a great exercise as I usually emphasize setting and plot over (and at the expense of) characters. Anyway, time to chew up group #5
The Neko
Building 5- college dorm comedy
Jeremy W
Dr. Green- mad scientist humor
Evil Jamie
[insert fantasy sounding character name]- lighthearted adventure
Lag the Noggin
Rats- classic cartoon comedy with an anime style
Maria and Michelle
[normal sounding character name]- every day life of a normal person
Kathleen J
Gothic High- school with odd supernatural happenings.
The person behind the computer makes it seem like a college scene, or maybe it's just that computers in high schools have become more common in the last three years since I've graduated from high school.
Reading the comic itself however, once I saw the lockers, I knew it was high school.

Several comics, eh? Well from top to bottom, looks like we've got some grunge humor, some supernatural adventuring, and finally full out science fiction.
I guess you were pretty close about the supernatural adventuring. I'm not sure if some of my comics could be called science fiction. And if Grunge humor means what I think it does, then no.
Driving Without Pants wrote:Yes Valuedan, your comic's writing is excellent. And the artwork reminds me a lot of Diesel Sweeties.
I loved the guest strip you sent me. Classic.
Thank you very much on both accounts. Your guest comic was also very funny, although now I don't know how to introduce the fact that McMahon (the one that apparently looks like Homestar) actually lost his legs to a Taiwanese Drug Cartel. Oh well.
The Neko wrote:Huh. Everyone says college. It's supposed to be high school. Damn.
Maybe you should draw the characters with some of those teenage mustaches... you know, the ones that aren't quite fully developed yet, but still show some future potential. And no, I didn't mean to say that as a subtle commentary about your comic, either, that's really what I think you should do.
