Several comics, eh? Well from top to bottom, looks like we've got some grunge humor, some supernatural adventuring, and finally full out science fiction.

Taiwanimation: Demon High is almost close, but not quite... actually the 'demon' is a satyr and I just put him in there cause he's my favorite. ^_^ It's pretty hard to categorize the plot of Thespiphobia based on the visuals... I mean, actors and techies don't really have any distinguishing facial characteristics like elves and such do.

Or was I not supposed to say that?

Ha. Mostly right, I suppose, although I wouldn't really consider Ascent a parody. It's more of a "straight" high adventure that happens to also be social satire.

people show the faces of their comic's cast.

a) people can take a look at the style of the characters,
much like if a movie has an attractive looking cast that
draws a viewer in.

b) others can just take a stab at the plot by the shown cast.
