... is getting novelized! thirty of the 35 comics will be printed over at cafepress dot com for a one-a-day-for-a-month tip on how to do stuff. should be posted within the week.
in the mean time, there is a short story about a guy digging a grave for his princess. VERY GOOD story, check it out!

Shouldn't this be in comic pitching?
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.
hmmmm... I would have liked to see more exclamation points used in that post. particularly in the first sentence. And would it have killed you to use aLuprand wrote:Yes we are. Don't make me review you!

yeah thank you very much for the good wishes. im slowly crankin out pages making the book look nicey nice for the masses. it should be up soon
and as for reviewing my work, let me be the frist: it sucks
i aint kidding! my art is HORRIBLE, but my funny is objective, and i think its funny, but thats just me, and i aint qualified to critique comics. there are better ppl out there to do that

You obviously have a style going here. My only critisism would be to put the "How to ???" in the top right corner. Makes it akward to read it at the bottom then go back up to read the joke. Kinda ruins the joke for me.
Otherwise congrats!

I am The Poster Formerly Known as Crossfire. Or PFKAC. ...has a certain ring to it, no?
I felt it was necessary for me to check if this was actually accurate. Much forum searching later...mcDuffies wrote:Do you know that we parodied the name of your comic:

So there you go. I was kinda suprised, but your name was indeed brought up.Phalanx wrote:Hmm... I think I like hownotto.keenspace.com.
It does feel like we're doing a mickey-take of howto.keenspace.com though...
But ooooh! think about the possibilities! We could even progress to other topics like 'How not to kill off a character in your comic' or 'how not to keep your readers not that you had them anyway'
I like it!
And here's where we got our actual name.Phalanx wrote:I tried registering but got a messsge saying keenspace was sorting out their servers and weren't accepting submissions again.
I was thinking of calling it hownottorunacomic.keenspace.com, as it expands the possibilties more than just starting a comic.
Oh well... look at the bright side: at least this gives the opportunity to include the typical 'keenspace-down not my fault' rant instead of a comic, so as to annoy the heck out of everyone

Actually, this is something of a bubble burster, but I had no intention of parodying howto.keenspace.com at all. I was just mentioning that some people might get the wrong idea and think that we were.
The name for hownottorunacomic comes from the first comic, remember? "An example of how NOT to start a comic".

If I remember correctly, it was oposite: we suggested "hownotto", but then that evolved to "hownottorunacomic".Phalanx wrote:Actually, this is something of a bubble burster, but I had no intention of parodying howto.keenspace.com at all.
