Why insult? It wasn't ment to insult you, at the most to jab you a bit.

Shouldn't this be in comic pitching?
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

hmmmm... I would have liked to see more exclamation points used in that post. particularly in the first sentence. And would it have killed you to use a  or two at the end.

overall post rating: B-

You obviously have a style going here. My only critisism would be to put the "How to ???" in the top right corner. Makes it akward to read it at the bottom then go back up to read the joke. Kinda ruins the joke for me.

Otherwise congrats!

I felt it was necessary for me to check if this was actually accurate. Much forum searching later...
Phalanx wrote:Hmm... I think I like hownotto.keenspace.com.

It does feel like we're doing a mickey-take of howto.keenspace.com though...

But ooooh! think about the possibilities! We could even progress to other topics like 'How not to kill off a character in your comic' or 'how not to keep your readers not that you had them anyway'

I like it!
So there you go. I was kinda suprised, but your name was indeed brought up.
Phalanx wrote:I tried registering but got a messsge saying keenspace was sorting out their servers and weren't accepting submissions again.

I was thinking of calling it hownottorunacomic.keenspace.com, as it expands the possibilties more than just starting a comic.

Oh well... look at the bright side: at least this gives the opportunity to include the typical 'keenspace-down not my fault' rant instead of a comic, so as to annoy the heck out of everyone ;)
And here's where we got our actual name.

Actually, this is something of a bubble burster, but I had no intention of parodying howto.keenspace.com at all. I was just mentioning that some people might get the wrong idea and think that we were.

The name for hownottorunacomic comes from the first comic, remember? "An example of how NOT to start a comic".

If I remember correctly, it was oposite: we suggested "hownotto", but then that evolved to "hownottorunacomic".
