Gemini, a detective story

Post by Gemini »

Comic!
title: Gemini
genre: detective/ crime fighting
style: full page graphic novel layout, greyscale
story type: linear storyline

oh, haha. right, the link! http://gemini.keenspace.com

Heya! I've drawn this comic awhile ago and did all of it on paper with no photoshop, including the text, which is why you'll see lines around the text sometimes from where I glued it onto the paper. Please forgive that ^_^ but besides that, I hope you'll find my comic easy on the eyes. There are 8 up right now, but I have posted 25 already for automatic update while I get up to speed, so you can be sure there will be new ones every thursday and sunday.
I hope you like it, please tell me what you think!

it's a nice comic, and the arts good, but it just doesn't look as crisp as it could (same with teh site design, and the buttons).

Thanks for the feedback. hee hee. someone said my art's good! *head inflates*I guess I'd better work on the site layout a bit more ^_^;
as for sharp, can you define that a little bit? Is it the legibility of the text?

I think he meant the characters. I agree, but it isnt that bad. Sometimes it gets kind of cluttered, and in scenes when characters are in the dark I think it may be a bit too hard to make out the characters.

I think it would also be nice if you put the text in by computer instead of glueing it on, because sometimes it looks kind of weird.

Also, you said on the site you had made the 25 comics a couple years ago, then stopped. So, is the series only 25 comics long, or are you going to continue drawing it? I hope you keep drawing, I want to see more stuff like this....there aren't enough comics out there like this one.

As a parting word, I have to say, the stroy is very interesting, and your art is great. Or at least better than mine.....

Cool, thanks for the advice! To answer your question, I'm going to continue it after the first 25 are posted, and from then on the text will look better. ^^ *sigh* I'm just a little lazy...
Does anyone have any suggestions for cool site designs to look at and get ideas from?
