Deletion notices still going out with activation notices

Post by Worldforger »

The subject line pretty much says it all. I got my verifcation email and my account deletion email within moments of each other. I did go to the verification page and enter my verification code anyway, in hopes that it might work.

The submission was for bluecrashkit and my email is worldforger at sunflower dott com, if that information is of any help. I submitted around 5:30 am or so Central Standard time this morning, received my verification notice at 10:02 pm tonight and my deletion notice at 10:04 pm. Before I got these emails, when I used the check status page it showed the file I uploaded and said my submission was there and that the email had been sent (it hadn't, it seems), and after I got the verification email and entered the code and tried the check status page again, it was gone.

I see that others have been having this same problem, and I understand that this is just as frustrating for you as it is for us. I'm very much looking forward to getting up and running here. Please advise me?

For now I'm trying again with hopes for better results.

Thank you very much for your time.
:)

I'm trying to catch the admins online and let them know. Currently they could be chupacabras for how difficult it is to get hold of one.

Should I wait for some sort of announcement before trying again or just keep resubmitting? Tried it twice now. I thought of just using xcomic (a comic-site PHP script) and putting the strip on my own domain, but I prefer the idea of going through someplace dedicated to that sort of thing.
