I have to say, that feline's got a really good head on her shoulders. She gives excellent reasons for NOT doing what seems to be a sterotypical marital "punishment".

It usually involves me building something because she has this "great idea" for something new around the house. I can sometimes get out of it by pointing out that the dog (1 year old, 105 lb german shepherd) will destroy it.

Even though having sex may have had the effect of softening up Ben, it does not necessarily follow that Lily planned it that way. But she'll probably remember that in the future. Whether she wants to or not. Even if she uses it to her advantage, it is, at worst, a lesser evil than withholding sex to get her way would be.
