(oh great, he's got me saying shiz now... I kinda like it, hehe. Too bad I can't pull it off....)

Nah. I prefer doing that sort of thing with spacers. Much more fun.

I'd put a notice in my update section about the cameo...but I don't update. >____>
When I get to doing it again, I'll note that page, though.

Fanart is cool to do when you want to, but this sounds like way too much hassle. If I wanted to suck all the fun out of my hobby, I'd just go to work.
I'm not really concerned if "everyone" sees my stuff. Those who do generally like it.

No offense, but to me, you always seemed to be doing this. You got away with it because you're very good at what you do.Van Douchebag wrote: By putting up a banner in your signature and posting normal posts like any other member you're flaunting to a potential clientele without the hard selling that comes out lame.

Muahahaaaa! We're all ho's here! The difference is the form of payment you know?! Free comics get paid in popularity and readers abd merchandise and fanmails and cult followings.TOXIC AVENGER! wrote:Technically speaking, aren't pay comics the only "ho's"? Phalanx is officially a pimp[ette].
Pay artists get less of that (though we still can get cult followings (See Ursula Vernon) )but we get payment in cold hard cash as well
Very good post Van. Most of the stuff's common sense, but you'd be surprised how rare common sense is.
*grin* soft selling...yeahduff wrote:No offense, but to me, you always seemed to be doing this.
