Southerners don't belong in this freakishly cold state. Three of my fingers are completely numb from cold right now... and I'm inside! I'm going to die!!!!! Die a horrible, ignominious cold-induced death!PeppermintAfterlife wrote:*shakes fist*Dutch! wrote:I'll be spending Christmas in shorts and thongs eating cold seafood and drinking chilled beer while sitting outside on the verandah in fold out chairs wearing paper hats and watching the sun go down well into the evening.
Enjoy the snow.
I hate snow. It EVERYWHERE!
I don't care if it's pretty. I'm so cold!
I'd hate Dutch if he weren't so dad-blamed sanguine. (Your comic's cute, by the way.)

Lol, is it really that unusual to see a funny newbie? But the statistics to point that way, don't they? Maybe that's why I posted something funny: I treat statistics like jokes themselves. That's kinda why my strip makes fun of stereotyping--Genesis_13 wrote:Look! Look! A Newbie posted something funny!
--ok, I'm getting contemplative, and that's boring. There's almost nothing more dangerous than me going contemplative, because things eventually get REALLY weird (and reach a word-count that rivals the Lord of the Rings trilogy in length).
Puh. So what's my solution to this? Apparently, it's "keep talking". -_- Why don't I switch back to the actual intended topic of the thread rather than babble on endlessly with useless info that even the forum/chat-addicted zombies who have chained themselves to their computers would classify as a waste of time (apologies to any zombies out there, and btw don't shake your chains so loud, I can't hear the strange voices).
(this post is kinda long, sorry about this) A fun thing to do at Christmas is give gag gifts. These gifts don

Oh, right -- this thread is about Christmas!
It sounds cheap (okay, it *is* cheap), but I swear, some of the best Christmas gifts come from the dollar store. I mean, where else can you get foam-rubber swords and tacky bobble-head animals and fruit-scented stationery?
About chesterfields: maybe it's a regional thing, but everyone on my father's side of the family calls them "chesterfields"... ;^^

That was great, though.
Who are you calling a super-small bean you need a magnifying glass to see?!!!
This would be so much better if I updated it....which I did....but then I stopped again!

When there used to be a dollar store next to my house, I'd just spend 10 bucks on each of my friends there... Make them each a little gift basket. Then the dollar store closed... and a little piece of me died.Keffria wrote: It sounds cheap (okay, it *is* cheap), but I swear, some of the best Christmas gifts come from the dollar store.
