I might be a little late to the party with this, but some people have already found a ton of these.
Superman is a dick.
(PS. The server seemed to be down as I checked this link, but maybe it'll be back up later for you to check out. Or it's also likely it got passed around the Internet enough to being the server down to its knees.)

That was pre-Golden Age, back in the wild and wooly 30's, where it was pretty much de rigeur for heroes to tote guns. He used to throw people off buildings, too. He stopped offing baddies when Robin was introduced.Jim North wrote:People never remember that back in the early Golden Age, Batman used to shoot people.

I'm sure I saw a Xena episode to that effect.. It had more naked dancing girls in it than that issue of Superman, though. Probably.Sortelli wrote:http://www.comics.org/graphics/covers/1 ... _4_129.jpgIsukiyomi wrote:All this stuff has me thinking of all the Superman & Batman slash fanfiction that I've encountered (goes hunting for slash art)

The melting point of lead is 327 degrees Centigrade (620 or so farenheight). Jimmy's flame breath is "2000 times more powerful" than Superman's eye lasers.
This means superman's eye lasers have the ability to warm the lead only 1/5th of a degree! Some eye laser - even a laser pointer will eventually do that.

But no, Jimmy's breath is 2000 times more powerful than Superman's x-ray vision. Well duh. Even my breath is more powerful than his x-ray vision.

one of my all time favorites..

on a side note there was this great line from Green Arrow where Ollie's talking to Mia(fifteen year old girl who wants to be the new speedy) and goes somthing like...
mia: "and roy was like fourty when you made him speedy"
GA: "well those times were diffrent. back then all you had to worry about was being put in some exagerated deathtrap, like tied to the keys of a gigantic type writer. or handcuffed to the gears of gigantic golden clock."
MIA: "a golden clock?"
GA: "ask batman about it sometime."
