But of course, you aren't bitter.
There is something to be said for competent silence.

[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

Well, now Eugene knows Tagger's deepest darkest secret, but remember that Tagger has *Eugene's* bag, so he COULD find some secret there as well...

Do you think that if it just so happened to be the SAME secret, that that would be enough to make peace between the two?

Of course, it did a little more than that over time, say even to the point of making them allies... I shudder at the thought, especially since Tagger is friends with Nip... that trio could go to work for the CIA as a sabotage and mis-information team...

This could be the start of a truce. Each boy has a secret the other doesn't want revealed, and their reputations are at a standoff. Ah, the joys of Mutually Assured Destruction!

Am I the only one who thinks it's funny - both boys instantly recognized the other's doll?

Yea bunnies!

Truce? Possibly but I wouldn't bet on it yet.

I wonder what other secrets will be revealed before the night is over?

That's a real good point.....this could get VERY "interesting".

This is either a Mexican Standoff or a classic "Check...and Mate" scenerio.

Wanna bet that if Eugene's tale was furred that it'd look like a bottle brush right about now? :o

Had he been rummaging through my bag, he probably would have found a "My Neighbor Totoro" plushie. XD

No bet on that. It's halfway to bottle-brush even -without- fur. Mexican Standoff, I suspect, for now. Truce will follow if they find someone who deserves their combined attention. Perhaps the real letter-writer....?

That's a distinct possibility, but has Eugene ever actually denied being the letter writer? For that matter, has Tagger ever "formaly" accused Eugene of writing the letter?

All I know is that they've been in a feud that like Tuck says; "Would put the Hatfields and McCoys to shame." Tagger's convinced Eugene's behind it and has unloaded his bag of tricks to which Eugene's counter-attacked. I don't think these two have ever talked about why they hate each other. Maybe now that they know each others "deepest, darkest, most emasculatin' secret" they'll try and hash this out.

Maybe Eugene's truely innocent..(of writing the letter at least 8) )...I really don't know.

Not necessarily significant, though. Remember, kids' TV programming is postively carpet-bombed with toy advertising; I daresay there's a lot of "girls' toys" the boys could recognize on sight, simply by having seen ads for them on TV about a billion times :D , without necessarily being fans of same.

The curious thing is if they were G.I. Joe or Transfomers, Nothing would come of it.

Interesting that tagger calls his Bitty Pretty Pony a figurine while saying that Eugene's Princess Usagi is a doll.

So, Mr. Bond. It seems we have reached an impasse.
For some reason, the theme from Goldfinger ran through my head during this little... confrontation. 8)

Very true. BUT......in this case, the boys are in actual possession of said "girls toys". And face it, these ain't "G.I. Joe" or "WWF Superstars". :D

*Not to put too fine of a point on this, you should see my "Biker Mice From Mars" action figure (read: 'dolls') collection.* :P

At work, over my workbench, there stands a plastic Gadget Hackwrench... uhm... figurine.
Just standing there, grinning and leaning on a wrench almost as large as herself.

I've long since declared her the patron saint of broadcast engineering.
