Happy Birthday to Me.
As one of the older 'Spacers, I think it's an occasion---considering I'm 51 today.
I can't be considering an up-and-coming aspiring webcartoonist---instead I'm an eccentric old man with an odd hobby.

The day before my mother's 45th birthday, I drove to her office with a bundle of tulips and a card that said "it's nifty to be 50".... But then the day before her birthday is April Fools Day and she expects stuff like that to happen to her.
Happy Birthday to you alschroeder!

Hey, my wife just handed me a $51 dollar gift certificate for my favorite comic book store as part (just part) of my birthday---showing I still am just a kid at heart.---Al

My wife knows all too well what I like...after all, we met through a comic book lettercolumn (back when there were such things.) Just like she got a gift certificate for her favorite movie theatre, since she's a movie buff, for HER birthday.---AlTheLoserHero wrote:Happy Birthday! p.s. What an awesome b-day gift. No lame neckties, bwahahaha

Thanks! Oh, and the "interlude" I did today is sort of Lorelei's thoughts during "Mr. Jim's" funeral during that Clan of the Cats guest art we did together! Just thought you'd like to know.---AlPhalanx wrote:Yay!
Cheer up, most of the best comics on the web come from the older set of creators, anyway. More experience and all that
