Interesting
Interesting. This brings flashbacks of Shadowrun to me, heh. I'd prefer some sort of outside interface, because it becomes very real the possibility to kill someone with brain inplants (I'm not talking about fear.com crap, I hate when movies have computers killing people or stuff that exists outside of them. Last I checked my computer doesn't have the motors or appendages neccisary to starngle me, although if it could I'm sure it would.) It would be interesting to see how this technology advances in 10 years.
I don't like signatures, so I'm not making one.
I once had a dream where I gave Richard Dean Anderson a hug and a slightly uncomfortable-yet-pleasant kiss on the cheek, but not to have a neural interface with a computer. Although the technology itself does look to be interesting, and it's got my attention for now.
I'd like to know how it works, though. It doesn't say. I mean, does the guy just move a cursor around on screen, or is there some method that can't be applied using physical instruments?

I'm loving the new series of Stargate SG-1 so much! "What's with the hair?" "I could do whatever I want" amazing.
But anyway, it would be interesting to know exactly what he has to do to use the computer, maybe he can only move a cursor, maybe he can "type", it's pretty hard to use a computer without typing at all. I wonder if he gets typos. I wonder if he types embarassing things by accident if his mind wonders.

Would be a lot better news if it wasn't discovered through invasive animal testing, but it shows there's definitely hope for cybernetic tails.
At some point there was a study of a human controlling a robotic hand using only external electrodes, so hopefully future studies of this kind won't require implants...
