I'm gonna be talking in terms of my time, GMT+11

I can't make it until 12:30 in the afternoon or so due to a new job. This translates to... whatever this is.

good question is game still on today? because I unfortunately have an exam starting at 5:30 and will probably last until 7 or so.

but looking at Trinket's graph that will probably be an ideal time.

Okay, a couple of things:

1. The best I can do is the first or second Friday in January.

2. Jim, I want to trade in my lantern and oil (but not my flint & steel) and get a Spell Component Pouch and 4 more days of Trail Rations. The trade will add 1 SP to my money reserves. I decided I need material components and focuses more than light. Besides, if I do need, I can get someone else to hold their torch in a certain place.

If that fails, I can always light some<S>one</S>thing on fire.

See, one of my current groups' favorite tactics is to demoralize their enemy by setting fire to monster corpses and heaving them into the fray.

This is also how they break through locked wooden doors that they don't have a key for. No, not setting the door on fire (though they've done that, too), but setting a monster corpse on fire and throwing it at the door, which then catches on fire.

Their first session, they burned a whole squadron of kobold soldiers . . . or their dead bodies, anyway.

What is it with my players and wanting to set things on fire all the time?!

I use to plat with this guy who liked fire as well. however it came to a head when we weree all inprisoned in a barn and he decides to escape by setting the hay on fire.

lets just say that wasn't a pretty end to all of our characters.

And this doesn't mean that I can't do the 2nd Friday. It just means that I can do the first for sure right now, as long as something doesn't happen.
