How come nobody's started a Stredwolf appreciation thread?

For discussions, announcements, non-technical questions and anything else comics-related or otherwise that doesn't fit in any of the other categories.

Certainly. Maybe there IS a lot of work he does and nobody hears of that keeps Keenspace running smoothly and everything. But because everytime he goes public to announce something he did or intend to do he gets tons of complaints, including from the people who actually own this place (to whom he apparently needs no permission to alter whatever he wants or justify any of his actions), it gets me this impression that he's been doing more bad than good.

I'm fine with Kelly now, I just "actively dislike" him. I am sorry I ever started that little drama, and now that I look at that at distance I even admit he was right. But before he gets my respect and appreciation he needs to fulfill his promise and change his admin ways. May he do that and he'll get all the respect he can take.

I can't remember which famous person said this:
"Never expect from people to remember good things you've done or to forget bad things you've done."
My course would be, bash someone when he does bad, praise him when he does good. With Striker, we've only so far did the first. So, I agree with Damonk and his boobies completely on this; I think this is a good oportunity to praise him a bit, and later, when he does something rush again, we'll bash him again.

Like I said, Kelly is just a bit too... impetuous. He just needs to remember: tact before act ;)

Of course, being impetuous when someone is approaching you with a chainsaw is not necessarily a bad thing either...

See, this is what we're talking about. If he banned you, you'd be pissed. If he doesn't comment, you're still pissed.

He just can't win with you people.

It's the lack of positive comments that have got people ticked. Since the only time we see him is when he's banning someone or locking a thread, it's hard to work up any affection for him. I don't expect admins to never ban or lock, but I do expect them to balance it out with some redeeming interactions with the forum populace.

This would have a better chance at being noticed by him if you posted at the KeenSpot forums. He seems to care more about that place than here anyway.

Fortunatelly some of us are mature enough to be resistant to that sort of things.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.
