Uh, Ralph, you changing the name of the strip, now that Ben and Lily are engaged or something?

At the moment (and because of the picture below it) I suspect it's just more filler. But I could be wrong.

Well, Halloween is just around the corner. "Goblin Hollow" could be the name of this next arc. RH did say he was working on some new commission stuff. Maybe we're gonna get Ben & Lily in a sorta haunted arc or some such storyline.
It does have a nice ring to it though. I could dig traveling on my motorcycle thru a place this. I've always had a love of "haunted" places.

We are NOT surrounded.....this is a "target rich" environment!

Sooo... if the name is now "Goblin Hollow", why does the web page title (across the top of the window) still read "Under the Lemon Tree"?

Goblin Hollow?
'Scuse me? When did Ben and Lilly win the lottery? Do you have any idea how costly creepy victorian mansions are these days? Heck, most mad scientists have to settle for creepy condos or ranches.
Maybe there was a reward for helping out with the bank robbers?
Or, maybe this is the set up for the next story arc.
On the other paw, I could see where a video game/LAN party parlor would be a perfect venue for Ben and posse.
It would be the perfect way for the posse to help Ben earn $$$, without compromising anyones scruples or morals. The posse could pop up anytime they wanted for some fun, and everyone would chalk them up as a clever gimick for the game parlor. Velvet, Zoot and Gunther would especially enjoy themselves. If this is Bens new business, then Morty apparently got to do the decor.
Another plus would be having Ben and Lilly running it, especially after setting up a neighborhood watch and helping with the bank robbers.
A local malls video parlor was shut down a while back. The place had become a street gang hangout and drug emporium. Again. Having a very resonsible and respectable couple running a game parlor would give parents someplace where the kids could safely play.

You can fool some of the people all of the time
And all of the people some of the time
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

The other possibility, especially given the statement in the last panel is that the place really is as sinister as its decor, and we have the first installment of a series of supernatural events/persons with less than great morals whom Ben will find himself having to do something about... but, given that the place is named what it is, then perhaps Ben and Lily DO own it... unless it is a portal to a weird universe that they will find themselves sucked into when they go in looking for a kid who didn't come home in time for his curfew or whatever.
We shall propably know within a few strips.

Well, there are various TYPES of nasty. Just like there are different types of smart. All sorts of motives and skill sets can combine together to make different types of problems. But that aside, Ben would have probably been toast before if he hadn't had the dragon decendant guy helping him out. So without the back-up from another supernatural... more of a challenge.

Maybe it's populated with stray tulpas...
Goblin Hollow -- the Bruin Home for Dispossessed Tulpas?

I assume that that is a reference to Cartoon Networks recently released (but longishly advertised) "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends"?
I could see that I guess.
Tulpas don't eat much and they have there advantages as "employees".
OTOH Ben has had a time keeping his own on good behavior... somebody else's seems like would be even harder.
