First RPG Post!!! Rei's assignment...

Solitaire was shocked when Rei came back in but smiled that she did even as she pushed him back wards he could feel her hot vampire blood through her skin. he got up again as she left and left through the window.

"How'd it go," he heard a voice to the right. It was Mariah the harpy
"Not so good," Solitaire said with a sigh "She obviously won't believe me,"
"Mabye I should..," Mariah started to say but Solitaire cut her off "She won't listen to you especially now I'll need to fetch.."
"Van," Mariah returned the favour to Solitaire.

He sped down the dirt tracks they called roads on his bike

Rei shoved her hands down into her pockets and tucked her head down so that her upturned collar of her long jacket hid some of her face and ears. She reached deep into her pockets and retrieved the forgotten felt hat and jammed it over her head, tucking it over the pointed cat tips of her ears. She suddenly spinned around to peer into the shadows. At Blake and Akari's looks she murmured, "Sorry, I thought i felt something there," they began walking again but Rei couldn't shake the feeling that someone or something was following them. "Hey, do you guys feel anything," she whispered low in case anyone should overhear.

Akari pondered about this question for a few seconds before nodding firmly. "Yes...but it's normal...I always feel things around me...It's...odd, but it has its uses..."

Rei shook her head slightly. "No I mean more like someone- like following us but I can't quite pick it up, like it's cloaked itself in shadows or something.." she clenched her fists in her pockets.

Akari shook her head slowly. "Everything's so confusing to me...I can't really sort it out, or pinpoint it to one spot....sorry..." she mumbled while bowing her head slightly.

Rei looked at her sharply. "It's alright, are you sure you're alright? If you're still not alright then its not safe for you to be out at night, even with me and Blake with you." Her voice held a worried note. She felt the thing move again with the shadows.

Laughing slightly, Akari nodded. "Yeah...I'm fine. Just kinda worried about Cassain....he just....dissapeared....Son't know if he's ok or not...I really hope he is...I mean, he was really nice to me...All of you have been so nice to me...thank you..." Akari looked around suddenly. There, a few feet in front of them was the little bunny Jenrei. "Junrei!" shouted Akari happily. "I thought maybe thoes things had gotten you..." the bunny hopped to Akari and jumoed into the girls arms. "Good to have you back Junrei" The bunny nuzzled akari gently, and she smiled happily.

Rei frowned slightly and nodded. "I know what you mean and it's alright. Cassian is a really nice guy and he listened to me which not mnay people have done before. Even though he has this weird bad spirit thing inside of him he still is able to worry about other people's problems and not just his own..." She trailed off as she saw the bunny ahead of them and Akari yelling, "Junrei!" She was glad Akari had found her familiar again. Now she only had to find where Silas and Cassian had gotten to...

Akari nodded absentmindedly while petting Junrei. "Yes...I saw the bad man....he's scary....I don't like him one bit..." shaking her head, she let it froop a bit. "I wish the bad man would leave Cassin alone, but...he won't. Cassain's really sad with the bad man...I can tell. Cassain blames himself for what the bad man does...which is wrong..."

Solitaire and Mariah arrived at a lodge where shadows car was parked outside (Couldn't be bothered to write about the way there) "They must be in here," Solitaire said.

Mariah tucked her wings in in case it wasn't a friendly place to harpies and they both went inside. They found Shadow and Van at the bar almost immediatly Van looked up and turned around, still blind he could not see but got the scent of Mariah and Solitaire. They walked over and sat down with them Mariah immediatly saw the glasses "Thought you didn't drink?," She cocked an eyebrow at Van who sensed it in her voice

"Hmm," He said in a grumble
"We need you to talk to Rei she won't listen to me ,"
"Always forward huh," Van said to Solitaire "Lance is on his way. Shadow!" He shouted wait here for Lance i'm going to get Rei ok,"

With that the three of them left.

Sado was scared. What if they found him? He watched as one of the girls put a hat on and covered up cat-like ears. She then spun around... I am so dead, he thought. Any trace of sound would betray him....

Being a shadow mage was a good thing, he decided. Just in case though, he spent all the energy he dared hiding himself with the darkness around him. The shadow/fire mage heard two of the girls talking about someone named Cassian. Reminded him of Calypso, so kind, always blaming himself for others mistakes, listening when noone else would. Suddenly, his body betrayed him. "Calypso..."

Rei ears pricked even as she was listening to Akari. She raised a finger to her lips "Shhh, stay here." she whispered.

She melted into the darkness and without warning knocked the man out of the shadows. Pulling him up again, she slammed him into a wall of a warehouse building. Growling low in her throat she quickly brought out her dagger and held it against his neck. "Who are you? Why were you following us?" Sensing that he was part fire demon and shadow mage she shook him slightly. "Speak demon or I'll kill you right here, right now."

Surprised at Rei's sudden actions, Akari stumbled as Rei pulled a man out of the shadows. "How did he get into the shadows?" she asked curiously.

(I'm not intending for you to find Cassian just yet. Just posting to let you know I havent forgotten you and to get back in to posting o.o')

"My sweet... My love..." The words where whispered in to Cassian's ears adding to the trance like state the white haired boy was allready in. His bright purple eyes slipped closed as he fell in to the creatures arms. The seemingly genderless humanoid wrapping it's arms around him as a crule smile spreed over his face. One hand trailing though the white locks of Cassian's hair. "That's it... My own... forever..." The mesmerizing voice even drowing out the one of Alasdair in Cassian's head. The spirit was still too weak after posseing the boy to be able to get through to him in his current state. This... could be trouble.

Sado was imediately knocked out of the darkness by one of the girls he had been following. He was then slammed into a nearby wall, blood softly dripping down his back. The cat-girl brought a dagger to his throat and angrily asked him who he was and why he was following them. Then she did something strange, she called him a demon. Sado was no demon, though many said he was. "I....i was curious. A..bout you , i mean" he stamered. "I didn't mean to pry, I'm so sorry!!!" The young fire mage started to sob, fearing for his life. "Have pity on me, I beg of you!" he choked through sobs. "As for who I am, most people believe I am a curse. My name is Sado Moonwater."

Akari looked at the frightened being. 'He's a boy...' "Rei? Please leave him alone. I can see nothing bad about him....please.....?" She looked the boy over again just to make sure she was right.
