formatting question

Post by Jeffy »

okay, I started my comic over again and am this time drawing it in comic book format, my question is, what is better, the crazy craggy lines for each frame like what's up now, or straight lined boxes? I would have an example of the staright lines but a couple of the frames I apparenlty modified beyond re-doing...

personally, I think I might go with straight lines for the rest, as it's less distracting, easier and might look more professional, which is why I'm gonna make one of each for the next page, but what are your, the peoples', opinions on the matter?

generally i'd suggest straight lines - but you could still used the jagged lines to good effect depending on what is happening in the frame (eg. anger, explosion, etc)
Magellan ... super hero cadets - their worst enemy is themselves!
Loxie and Zoot ... cos nudists have adventures too y'know!

I don't know if it's just me, but I like the craggy lines. It looks very cutting edge.

Craggy lines rock, in cases like this.

I consider straight lines default. Only if comic is such, that I want to achieve a certain look, I'll use freehand-drawn lines.
