I get mine from random phrases. Then I form stories from those that usually end up having nothing to do with the original phrase.

Most of the time the inspiration comes from strangers, especially ones that have interesting bone structures, or a fascinating manner of speaking, sitting, standing, walking....

Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

My inspiration comes from a combination of RPG sessions with my friends, conversations I have with people, and random insanity dug deep from the darker corners of my own brain.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

Real Life. I have a twisted mind. The tiniest little oddity about something is sucked in by my brain and processed over and over for several hours until it has been blown into something hilarious. Then I write it down in my Notebook of Things I Will Draw a Comic About Some Day. A month later I open the book, and say to myself "what did I mean by 'be like a dentist!!'" (actual quote) and decide to postpone the drawing of that comic. Then I draw something somewhat half-funny instead and swear that next time, when I get a hilarious idea, I will write it down in detail and not try to sum it up in one word!! Repeat from the beginning.

Here are more quotes that were going to be something absolutely hilarious but that I can't figure out for my life: "nuclear reactor", "life is like your mom", "ninja buns", "amputated body parts", "a fork", "psychedelic beans"...

Life and my apparent strange interpritation of it. Other web-comics and cartoons from around the world. Movies and music. Also, just stuff that I wished I could but I can't. So, yeah. Basically anything I can get my blistered fingers on.
The Fan: Action, Drama, Suspence...All at a comfortable room temperature. Yeah, it's still there. I'm as shocked as you are.

I'll see a preview for a movie that looks absolutely fantastic, while I wait to see it visions of what it will be like fill my head to bursting point. Then I finally see the movie and find out that it really sucked. So rather than waste the headbursting movie visions I use them for comic fodder.

Everything.

My wife, music, movies, public transit, life experiences, tv, friends, family, dreams, daydreams, memories, magazines, comics, books, pets, the news...

But mostly the voices our heads. And conversations *they* have.

As authors it is our duty to create lovable enticing characters, and do horrible evil things to them.
I don't mind straight people, as long as they act gay in public.

Real life, and dreams. I don't really like taking ideas from movies or stuff. Somethines literature, though, but not ver often.
Oh, and my sketches: I draw something I like and I just have to implement it in a comic.

Violent tendencies are fun to implement in a comic!
