Yeah, that is pretty pathetic, but you have to admit, procrasturbate is a pretty clever word. :)

But I don't see anything. Just... just a black box.

Let me guess, you use Internet explorer? If you do then you need to switch to something like Firefox. IE cannot view PNG images. Which this is. Any other browser out there can view a PNG just fine. But IE sucks. A lot. Switch!

Internet Explorer can't view png files, really?! I never knew that.

...

you sure? I could have sworn that I've posted some png files on Keenspace before. I saw those! (I have IE.)
I'm glad 90's style forum signatures don't exist anymore.

I think we're just continuing a trend of practical jokes and Firefox 'luvin.

And I found MrEff's comic, it was funny and kinda cute! Lost the link (I was on random) but I think it's called Ded Edd, or something.

IE can be a trip. I don't know why it works sometimes and not others. All I know is that most of the time, IE cannot view a PNG corectly, if at all. I tried viewing this comic as well with IE and saw nothing but a black box.

*hugs Firefox*

Oddly I can veiw quite a few of my own PNG's with IE with no trouble.. 'Tis odd.

Black box in IE here, too. How odd, especially considering my own sample image is also a PNG.

Mind you, I made mine in Photoshop and if any program's going to get a PNG exactly right, Photoshop'd be it. It could just be that IE is less forgiving of some types of PNG.

Actually, it is, isn't it? IE can't do translucency. Maybe that's the problem here.

I figured the black box was the comic. And if not, I don't care enough to load another browser on my home PC.

Bastards! Firefox is everything! EVERYTHING!! I simply can't live without my tabbed browsing and themes. Or the tighter security. Or the built in popup blocker. Or the plugins that run right in the browser. Or-you get the point.

Bah. What was that old quote... something about adversity making us tougher? You Firefox and Mozilla people are so spoiled. When the hackers and pop-up builders and spyware writers of the world finally figure out how to get into your computers, you'll be helpless, while we IE users, with our years of experience fighting such fiends, will be laughing.

LAUGHING!

And in the meantime you get to enjoy the flashing ad that just threw itself in your face. :P Meanwhile I can customize Firefox with a kickass theme and have 6 websites open in one window. 8)

Ok I'm done. I don't want to debate browsers...

But Firefox is da shit

Aw, but browser wars are fun... :(

Hey, who wants to give me an opinion on the relationships between regulars and newbies? Like the stuff that's in this thread. I want to quote you in my article for the newsletter.

I PM'ed Warren asking for a quote but I'm impatient. ^_^

As a forum regular (though I still can't grasp the idea that I'm part of a community) I have seen no real difference in the behaivior of people. If they have a post count of 2 fine. If they have a post count of 2000 fine. They all act the same. Save for in-jokes and a general confidence to start crap. :P
