So I don't have a Brit accent, other than the mangled local versions our colonial masters left us ;) So it's sounds more like "blah-dy".
we've got quite a lot of people of asian descent living in sydney who have quite strong (but not broad) aussie accents. guess even if they were born overseas they arrived in oz at a young enough age to acquirea different accent as they grew up.

It's funny how people were the message over and over again, instead of the usual quote piramid. And now it just doesn't seem right to do it. I mean, I'd have to pick just one of the messages...

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Every time we get a quote pyramid someone suggests that. Why don't we just write it down next time so we don't have to keep testing?

I know, that's why I suggested it before anyone else could.

On a somewhat related (to the thread topic) note, I've been finding some very odd sites in my referals. No, not porn odd, but sites like this. I guess it's just a way around hotlinking or something, but I dunno. It's weird, but whenever I actually check those things, no Dim Bulb images actually show up on them. I'm flabbergasted. Flumuxed, even.

Sites like that use a code to pull up the latest 20 or so images posted on Livejournal. When the page is refreshed, the old images are pushed down and the new ones are displayed at the top. That would be why the images aren't up there when you visit. Dunno why it'd pull up your comic, though.

That was the first thing we tried in the off-topic forum.

I don't remember the exact numbers but...

after about 30 levels Internet Explorer stops displaying the first posts
Mozilla and some other browser still display them.
after about 60 levels(total) Mozilla and most other browsers crash.
after about 180 levels(total) Internet Explorer starts having troubles displaying it- the whole bottom of the page gets trapped inside the quote pyramid.

I say instead of a pyramid, let's try for a ziggurat. Much niftier, in my opinion. Then we can raise it all the way to heaven and call it the Tower of Babel.

THE Tower of Babel? Been there, done that...
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.
