Congratulations to both of you.

Sortelli, just remember you're not allowed to leave the forum just because you've been spotted. We won't tolerate any of that.

I don't remember I ever posted on keenspace forum. On the topic of 'keenspace / keenspot' I am just grateful that keenspace provided me the free hosting when I couldn't afford the bandwidth on my own. Without keenspace, TWC and TAV wouldn't exist.

I considered leaving Keenspace when last time they had that weeks long down time, I got a fan hosting a mirror site for me and direct 1/2 of the traffic to TAV there instead, (that's the reason my page view is down on keenspace guide listing, otherwise TAV has about the same number of visitors as Ghastly's)

I have a very large gallery too which is why my pageviews are so high because many people coming to the site visit several pages in the gallery and fan art gallery each time.

For April my readership increased to almost 60,000 readers and my pageviews were more than 840K.

As for my future with Keenspace. Well, having no advertisers was a worry for me and no doubt a worry for Keen as well. I've made a deal with Chris Crosby to try to remedy this situation. I removed all the ***advertisement*** tags from my pages so that there's no chance the Burst ads will accidently re-appear on my site like they did a couple of days ago. That'll keep Keen out of trouble. Then, since Keen doesn't have the ability to sell targeted advertising on Keenspace comics at the moment I'll take on the task of selling adspace on my site and the revinues will be split 50-50 between Keen and myself.

When Keen comes up with their own advertising model for its NC-17 comics (even if they just decide to use them for inhouse advertising) I'll put that tag on all my pages too.

So it looks like I'll be able to stay on Keen even though my strip lost its advertising. It also gives me the freedom to experiment with different advertising models until I find one that works best with a site such as mine. It's a win-win situation for me and Keen and may even yield an advertising model that Keen can employ with all its NC17 comics.

I'm #1!

I'm #1!

That means you all have to do what I say from now on. Get in line, you'll be issued your frilly french maid uniform, then you'll be lead to your chair where you are to await your bare bottomed spanking.

Thanks to everyone who rooted for CYS, I really appreciate it. I wish I could say more, but I'm still a bit shocked. :D

Wow. When I linked Space Coyote's journal, was I the one who consequently brought everyone affiliated with Keenspot over there?

If so, I feel kind of bad. I didn't mean to bring shit over there, I just found the entry to be relevant to this discussion.

Anyway, yadda yadda, Big Congrats to Sortelli and Adis, you know the drill. :D GO YOU!

I'm sure you're not the only one who brought that up, that would have gotten attention with or without you. :D

Remember Saturnalia is one of the big comics on Keenspace too. I'm sure it does a pretty good job of attracting attention all on its own.

Yea -- I just wondered, because as soon as I linked it, Chris Crosby showed up, then a bunch of Keenspotters did. But you're right, it was silly of me to think that. I wasn't quite awake at that moment, anyway.

Probably. But I imagine if Spot does not heed this warning, she shan't be the last.
... then again, I've never been big on predicting things.
Frankly I don't think that was so much bashing on keenspot. More like, everyone has his own reasons...

Anyway...

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeey!!!

Holly swear!
Congratulations to new spotters!
And to Ghastly!

See how complaining actually works!

And Sortelli, you remember that you promissed me you'll be on these forums to announce your wedding! So since I don't see you getting married, I guess you're tied up to this forums for some years more or you'll break the promise!

Guys, see how slowly we're gaining friends on important positions? We have frends in Smash, on Spot, soon we're gonna infiltrate into Pentagon too!

P.S. Damn, my timing on planned fanart for EOI is bad. Every time I get into thinking of it, Sortelli gets a big boost up, be it link from PA or being spotted, then I decide to delay it a bit, I don't want it to look like I'm pimpont or something... This way, it'll never get done.

P.P.S Someone call ambulance, I think Phalanx is having a stroke.

Aw, thanks dude, just send me the fanart. There's never a bad time to get fanart. :)

And I'm not going to leave the forum. I mean, I'm not always ON the forum as it is anyway, but you guys are my mates!
