It's nice to see the man still has a scrap of activism left in him.

Let the games begin. :)

Bill Holbrook actually has a number of political story threads in his various strips.

I think it must be left over from having done editorial cartooning at some point in his life...

The current K&K thread is interesting, but long time K&K readers will not be surprised, the stip is filled with some fairly blatent pro-diversity and tolerance themes.

No complaints from me :D
Mad Scientist. Generally quite seriously Miffed Engineer.

Hm... well, it was a nice storyline, but it ended kind of abruptly... *shrugs*

If only if it were that easy in real life, eh?

The start was good, the ending was good, but the middle... The same repetitive gags that caused me to stop following k&k before. scampering jokes, eating the hedge, etc... no plot, no substance, and nothing he hasn't drawn before in at least 12432 other strips. He had a good storyline, and had a good ending in mind, but seemed to be lacking anything to put between.

The general plot idea was good. The concept of the ending was good: that somewhere, somehow, demonstrations of true love could convince bigots to change their minds. But the same sight gags he's used so many times before... agggh! it makes the brain hurt by about the 1000th time kevin eats a floral obstacle, prey's inherent scampering abilities come into play, etc. The gags might have been funny the first time... but that wasn't the first time.

Overall opinion: Bill did a good job on the plot and the ending, but it would have been a lot better without the filler in the middle.

My two cents, at least.
