Kat, you aren't suggesting... that our favorite fox couple... may NOT survive their encounter?? O_O
Will Karostropov's stormtrooper squad actually get to blow them away??
*gasp* I'm hoping not, but still...

Well, goodness can win, perhaps. Maybe they could escape with some wounded souls anyway. Karapostrov can't be killed, after all.
By the way, is a person culpable for their actions if possessed temporarily by an evil spirit? Philosophical question.

the story - and right now, it doesn't look good for the Boodles. If I had
them wisecracking "Don't worry folks, we'll get out of this alive" the
story would no longer have any real suspense. And it would be grossly
unfair to the readers to treat death as anything but seriously, since
their innocent friend has been killed by Karostropov.
In Karostropov's case, he's the one responsible for his actions as far assethtriggs wrote:By the way, is a person culpable for their actions if possessed temporarily by an evil spirit? Philosophical question.
the actual destruction is concerned. But the ultimate responsibility lies
with the being who hosts him, because Karostropov can't inhabit anyone
that doesn't willingly let him do so.
