Sup y'all? Just got back from Japan. It was a real blast. Everything I could have ever hoped for. Unfortunately I've returned to a lot of problems but...hey. Anyhoo, just wanted to say "hi" and "I"m back."

Welcom back! Japan is definately on my list of places I'd like to go to sometime. Actually, my cousin's a religions professor and she's going over there to record some festivals. Pretty schweet.

I can definately sympathize with comming back to problems. Got back from Chile, and lo and behold I'm forced with finding somewhere to live, getting a job, graduation....yeah.

Yeah I went to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Kyoto was definintely my favorite of the 3. Such a beautiful city. A week was no where near enough time to experience it all. I must go back...no; I need to go back!! Well, time to go try and fix my fricked up life. Bai bai.

Mmmm, Sumo cows... arghgglgllll..... Japan. I'm gonna go there someday, if only to crush my boyhood dreams of what its like there. Just watch, you'll probably see news about an american wrecking his rental car off mt. akina while trying to drift... or arrested at an all female dorm/ hot spring... or for breaking into a secret underground government base trying to convince them to make him the pilot of their top secret giant robot before the angels come... or for hunting down vampir... wait, thats Britain.

When your big in japan, tonight
Big in japan, be tight, big in japan
Where the eastern sea's so blue
Big in japan, alright, pay
Then I'll sleep by your side
Things are easy
When you're big in japan
When you're big in japan

Doing that doesn't make news in Japan anymore... Although there was a related article where they celebrated that nobody had done it for three weeks.

I never understood what that song is about, or who sung it first anyway.

I've got your picture,
Of me and you.
You wrote 'I love you',
I love you too.
I sit and stare at it, there's nothing else to do

Oh it's in color,
Your hair is brown.
Your eyes are hazel,
And soft as clouds.
I often kiss you when there's nothing else around

I've got your picture,
I've got your picture,
I'd like a million of you over myself.
I want a doctor,
To take your picture,
So I can look at you from inside as well.

I think I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
I think I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so

No sex,
No drugs,
No wine,
No women,
No fun,
No sin,
No you-
No wonder it's dark.
Everyone around me is a total stranger,
Everyone avoids me like a psyched Lone Ranger.
Everyone.

I think I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
I think I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so

This is relating to a term used in the 80's "turning japanese" meaning to contort your face during "release."
Doing that doesn't make news in Japan anymore..
Damn! My dreams of being a member of the akina speedstars and having a dirty hooker for a girlfriend are ruined!

*cries*

Looks like a band called Alphaville did the "Big in Japan" song first, and it was covered by Guano Apes.

actually Big in Japan was Alphaville's first hit done in 1984. I think Maria wrote it, but I'd not be suprised if it was written by someone else. Alphaville had a talent of covering songs and making them thier own and pulling quite hit material from covers.

Welcome back Kensou X . And everything must always to taken in context, because out of context, it's all a bunch of weirdness. Take pity on the DB watchers. They too shall soon join the dark side
