PonyWrong Abounds!

Post by Allan_ecker »

When I conceived the idea of Queer as Pony, there had already been a few "evil" My Little Pony pictures here and there, but I hadn't seen a lot of it, and figured that Queer as Pony had a shot at being something truly new and strange. Sadly, with little more than some concept art and a number of gags plotted out, I'm uncovering more and more MLP parody art of vastly varying degrees of brilliance and wrongness.

-sigh-

Queer as Pony just doesn't feel as -cool- as it did with great stuff like the links below already out there. I'll probably still do it, but now I walk in the shadows of giants. Most of these links are tame, but as one might expect, the Doug Winger pics at the bottom contain adult material (but thankfully no overgrown genitalia), so if you're under the age where your community considers you old enough to see such things, don't look at 'em.

A collection of pictures taken of ponies and other toys in funny situations.

A gleefully twisted look at those "new" My Little Ponies; Moon Dancer has taken quite a dislike to the new batch; I have to agree that "Barbifying" a My Little Pony is a pretty poor move, though. Gimmie my chubby 80's ponies!

Quite possibly the coolest custom pony in existence.

BRILLIANT Pony Fanfiction which cracks open the cutesy world of MLP and roots around in concepts which follow logically from what little information is revealed in the Pony Cannon, but which of course wouldn't be gone into in children's programming. Often very dark, but always clever, these stories are perfect for grown-up ponyholics such as myself. "Horse of a Different Color" would be a good story to start with, as it contains some of the coolest things in the archive and yet is accessable to a non-pony-officionado. For die-hard fans, MoonDancer's take on Escape from Catrina may turn your brain inside out quite nicely.
Down at the bottom, you'll find "My Little Beast Wars", the single most brain-thrashing MLP creation in existence.

Review of the MLP special "Rescue from Midnight Castle". Contains the phrase "Fresh meat for the Lesbian Pony Express". Need I say more?

And here are some VCL pics, none of which are really safe for work:

And there's other PonyWrong out there that I couldn't remember or find. Apparently, PonyWrongness is already alive and well. Not that I'm complaining or anything!

none of that stuff is as good as it could be, having said
(but thankfully no overgrown genitalia)
i expected some genetalia that wasn't overgrown, but no...
i don't know exactly what this "queer as pony" thing is all about (you mentioned concept art, any chance of a link?), but i'm sure it could compete with whats already out there.

Thanks go to Richard Wyatt for my avatar which he drew in Dansk Folly.

I've seen some; it could. It's good! Don't disparage yourself, Allan!
