Just saw the preview for next weeks episode... it looks like they are actually killing off MacGuyver!!! I am so pissed off about it, especially if it true.

SG1 is their #1 show. I doubt they would try to replace it with farscape just like that. They'll probably slowly and painfully kill the series off like star trek or seinfeld or the simpsons. There have been some pretty bad episodes for this season, the one where Sam gets a date was especially god awful.

I love sg1. this is the last season

they are going to start a spin-off called stargate: antlantis. but I don't think o'neill (mcgyver for those of you who don't watch) is going to actually die. the closest they ever came to actually killing off a character was when daniel "died".

atlantis? Crap, they are going for the horrible slow death... From the looks of the previews, it does seem like they are gonna kill him off... Although they could pull that "oh, we left him on some planet and didn't know he was still alive" thing...

I never knew, they don't air it anywhere near me, what season is it now?

I only watched the first couple, and then ummm.. I kinda lost interest, you know, the airing times interfered with something, like me sunday morning sleep for example, and I would only watch a couple of random episodes.

I can't say it was my favourite series, but it wasn't bad I guess.

The thing that cracks me up is MacGuyver and PeterThornton

I mean, their alteregos.

And I swear, in the first episode Daniel should have said "You look different, new haircut?"/"you changed a lot"/or something like that to O'Neil.

Stargate SG1 has been airing on the Scifi channel since the beginning of season six. They're currently on their seventh season.

meh - never been big on SG-1. killing off main characters is usually a sign the whole show is in big big trouble. but it might survive.
unlike angel which has been axed! we've only just started the latest season here in oz, so i don't know how suckworthy (no pun intended) it's become since the move to w&h. so maybe it was deserving of the axe. guess it might always move to another station...

speaking of dying things, I think my keyboard is dying. the "enter" key doesn't respond. sadly that is the most used key on my keyboard. luckily though my brother insisted on sending me off to school with 2 backup keyboards. kinda like a spelunker.

anyone else see it? also, can someone tell me whether sg1 has been renewed for another season or if sci-fi is just going to be running atlantis next year? I heard the current season was possibly going to be the last, but have not heard the rumor comfirmed or denyed.
