GOD I miss Road Rovers. I only got to see, like, THREE episodes, but they just made me -so- happy!
I didn't even know about furries back then, but I was -SO- furry by that point. Boy, was I happy to discover that Road Roavers porn is fairly commonplace!
Wait a minute... what?

Odder still is the percentage of fanfiction that deals with Hunter/Blitz. More precisely, Hunter ON Blitz and vice versa.
Because NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!

American Warner Brothers TV cartoon series. Something like only 13 episides total.Nyamaza wrote:Ummm... Road Rovers?
I did not remember it at first and had to look it up. But after doing so I did remember an episode or two.
I am now in a mild nostalgia fugue...

I loved how they were all different nationalities, and I also loved the Russian's ocular ice beams.
"HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?"
"Hmm. Must have contracted it during cold war."
"I'd like you to get to know each other."
-everyone sniffs each other's asses-
"Maybe I should've gone with cats."
I think those both happened in the first episode. Heck, did I even -see- anything but the first episode?

I dimly remember something vaguely similar to it.. I think. I might have caught half an episode by accident back when it was airing.. I did that to DBZ before it showed on toonami, and also with Trigun before I knew what that wonderful series was...
All fear the RP character from the completely private RP ^_^.
Current psuedonym/RP character count: 25

Way OT, be warned.
Ahh, DB and DBZ. I actually watched large amounts of these in the original Japanese many years ago. I remember thinking at the time that this was a show that could not be shown in the US.Cyril_Dran wrote:I dimly remember something vaguely similar to it.. I think. I am not much of a fan of dubs in general (not for animation, nor for movies with actors either...). Though I did see a DBZ movie dubed into Cantonese once, which was unintentionally quite funny as they picked this amazingly deep voiced macho guy to do Goku's lines. It was so utterly different from the original that I could not help but picture some Chinese producer somewhere smugly saying something like, "This time we do it right!" Considering DB is based on a Chinese story, he or she probably felt quite justified in adjusting it back to something more in tune with the original intent.
As for Trigun, yes that was a good show. If you have not seen Coyboy Bebop and Outlaw Star you should go out an look for those also. All three came out around the same time, and all three are fun space adventure yarns.

Trigun was the only one with a really linear, coherent plot out of those 3. Cowboy Bebop actually didn't seem to have a plot, from what I've seen of it.. which is like the first half. And Outlaw Star had a plot, but you have to watch it two or 3 times to get it....
Still, it's not as bad as "Lain", so... wait... nothing's as bad as "Lain".
.... Ack.. I sound like an Otaku. Ok, enough anime for me for a while... *puts away Slayers Try*

Otaku warning...
I thought Outlaw Star was fairly coherent the first time through. But then I like the Old Stlye Space opera that it pays homage to.Cyril_Dran wrote:Trigun was the only one with a really linear, coherent plot out of those 3. Coyboy Bebop never completely makes sense, but becomes a bit less confusing the more you see. The movie also helps understanding (though one might argue more in a Zen sense than in a linear context).
I'll be quiet now.
