1/25 The Posse Reacts

Nice tableau. Exactly what goes through everyone's mind when hit with something out of left field like that.

I think Ben needs to talk to Lily's father. Surely he knows what to expect from Grandpa.

Same racist seniment that bigots spout to make types like Ben or ANYONE back off or scare away. That crap is unneeded from anyone,
from any age or species. :x

I hope that the problem gets taken out... before the Grim Reaper gets a
buddy... namely Gunther! :o

Or perhaps God might MAKE sure the Grampa Feldspar is put down. :-?

Types like that make me just TOO angry...

Silsbee, Texas. For some reason, that name cracks me up. :-?

Anyways, been awhile since we had all the posse seen at once, I think...

I suppose Ben could try to placate grandpa by taking a Navajo name and performing some bizarre family ritual. Of course that would be ridiculous, condenscending, and demeaning for everyone, but It'd make for incredibly funny storylines!!

An important clue is that Lily's father didn't seem afraid of "Grandpa", but was instead talking as though the old fellow was little more than a floor show. If that's the case, it's not likely that Ben will end up as the daily special cold-cut platter.
Besides, I don't think bear meat is kosher...

Wow, an elderly jewish navaho-wannabe puma godfatherish sort of bigot...
Take the last two words off, he could be a fun guy to have around.

[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

Jewish?

Or, Ben could inform Lily's family about all this, and they could give him advise on how to deal with things. Grandpa might overhear his grandcubs "We never did like him. He never likes our friends."

Until next time, remember:

I

AM

THE

J.A.M.

Good evening.

Yeah, yeah. I live in town that had nasty things happen, but, still, there is a few good people. A little shy of furs such as myself, but, I'm a nice fellow. I've seen a lot of bigots... and I've been around for 36 years.

The very WORST thing that Grandpa Feldspar's friends could probably do is whistle at Lilly... or better yet... flaunt their girlfriends... and the ladies are of DIFFERENT species!!!

That alone would give the maladjusted Methuselah the reality check (not to mention a heart attack!) that he deserves!! Then... the Man Upstairs
would give that wannabe what for!

Has everyone forgotten that Ben is an armed bear? (Not that he brought it here, but he owns one.)

I'm torn. Part of me wants to see Ben turn Grandpa into Puma cutlets. Part of me wants a non-violent solution. After all if he keeps seeing Lily he is going to have to deal with her family in the future. Unfortunately, many racists are so certain of their superiority that they are impervious to any argument or proof. So other that saying bugger off I don't see much that Ben can do. Personally if I was in Ben's place I would give Grandpa some quality invective filled face time, tell him there was nothing he could to stop me, and keep seeing Lily. Be interesting to see how Ralph resolves this one.

Eh, Ben's a smart guy. We've seen him handle all sorts of situations in the past, I'll be surprised if he doesn't find a way to solve this one.
