Toward The End Of Time

Post by Allan_ecker »

As of this writing, there are six weeks of regular strips left, with two to three weeks of full-screen specials for the Wedding itself. I have drawn (but not processed) all of the regular strips, with the Wedding proper marginally fleshed out. I'll be using Photoshop to draw the last strips, but rest assured the style will not change very drastically. (It's a dirty little secret of mine that about ten percent of the lines in UH are drawn, not by hand, but with a tablet and Photoshop LE.)

Actually, drawing the ending is going to be kind of sad. This comic was a big part of my life for a long time. I think most people should be -reasonably- satisfied by the ending I'm planning; it answers a lot of questions but doesn't collapse the waveform completely. One story ends, and others begin. I just won't be telling them. At least, not any time soon.

Sounds like a good plan to me. I'll certainly miss UH when it's done, but the journey has been a fun one. :)

A sentiment that we all can share.
It's not that I'm apathetic, it's that I'm ..... um .... OK, it's that I'm apathetic.
