Can't log in, flailing around no longer an option

Post by Mr47 »

I activated my account and recieved no password email. However, I tried to fix the problem by using the Lost Password. My comic is in the directory, but I can't access it from the login screen. The username and password are correct but I still can't access it. My firewall settings are right and the cookie settings are not a problem either. Kind of wondering why I can't login to FTP. Something I don't have? I don't know.

Help would be greatly appreciated, probably because it's something I did wrong. I am beginning to think that the internet is in fact the devil, and that I must destroy it with a crowbar. Please help me.

After you use the Lost Password script, you need to authorize the password using a hash that is sent to you via e-mail.

If you haven't recieved the e-mail, you probably entered your address wrong.

I had the same problem with my account, I got the authorization email, but never got the password authorization email. Probably your email service is blocking that mail (turned out mine was, so I had to change it once I got in).

All I can really say is good luck to you. I eventually had to directly contact an admin, didn't really want to annoy them but it was all I had left to do.

(A beam of light floats down from heaven and lands gracefully on my computer.) I fixed the problem. Just did the lost password about 50 times. Thanks for the help anyway!
