Serbia? Hummm... mcDuffies and then the Kosovo War for me!
Mostly I think of it as that place to the right of mid-Italy...
Also, the best known tank of Germany (for most people) is the infamous WWII Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger, the oh-so over-hyped tank of Germany that wasn't really all that great. To quote "We expect to loose 9 shermans for every tiger, therefore we shall make ten for each tiger" sounds more like tactical ineptitude than real logic... For every Tiger the wermacht could have made 3 Panthers (which was a very nice tank indeed).
I like tanks.

I'm from . . . somewhere under the lithosphere, I think.
Canada falls under that heading, right?

PUNNY!!!
Heh. Serbia? Eh... my first asosciation has got to be the Kosovo war. Sorry about that, but the problem is that its not as well known and visited as, say, Germany. All I ever hear about Serbia is when they bring it up in the news.. and you know that that's never good. Your head of tourism doesn't seem to be doing too great a job...

Or anything else, for that matter. Yeah, it's pretty understandable that you'd be remembering it for a war. I remembered that sentence form film "Till death do us apart":
Kid asks father: Daddy, where's Yougoslavia?
Father, in a hurry, answers: On a map!
Just for my own satisfaction, I'll name a few things someone could remember Serbia for:
-Nicola Tesla
-Michailo Pupin (not as known as Tesla, but I gather he's fairly important scientist and also lived in USA)
-Ivo Andric, nobel prise winner (who was actually a Croatian, only lived in Belgrade most of his life)
-Officially, we started WWI. Politically, it was a bit more complicated.
-Emir Kusturitza, the film director, works mostly in France
-If anyone read Baron Munchausen, he might have noticed one of his sidekicks got drunk and fall asleet near Belgrade. Heh, just kidding, even I remember it only because I've just seen that bood.
-Ow, how could I forget? Vlade Divac, Predrag Stojakovic. We've often been european champions in basketball, sometimes even world champions when USA doesn't sent A tim

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

I'm from California normally, the SF bay area to be exact. But right now I'm serving hard time in Iraq for something, although I'm not quite sure what that something is, but they sent me here anyways. Anyone wanna sell me a plane ticket home?

The "other" choice: whether the question doesn't apply, you need another option, or you'd just like to tell people to shut the fuck up, we've been on your side.

BTW, mcDuffies is way more shiny than wristwatches.

Great, I used to have the Serbia = McDuffies thing going on, but now all I can think about is wristwatches. Serbian Wristwatches. Look out, Switzerland! Soon all you'll have is wonderful, delicious chocolate. And all that money, I guess.

Yes, Mercedes.
And we musn't forget Porche and BMW.
We have three BMW's.
The M3 is so sweet!
But nothing tops the Z8!; but we don't have one of those, so I'll have to stick to the M3.
I'm from Daphne, Alabama. That's five minutes across the bay from Mobile, Alabama's Port City, home of Mardi Gras.
If you count our other houses, I could also be from downtown Mobile, or Alexander City, AL.
