The Mayors - possible villains?
VERY interesting strip yesterday. This raises interesting questions about the Mayors - if they lack mutuality, then why? What are their interests? Are they 'bad guys'?

elected because of their *own* substantial level of mutuality.
They don't lack it - they just notice that Kit & Kay have more.
But they had a desire to seek public office, whereas Kit & Kay
have none.
