I'm pretty much bored with all the current threads, so I just thought I'd let all of ya'll have a place to come and tell me how great my comic is.

You should have called this thread "The Ego Strikes Again II" or something. :D

Your comic is great. The best ones were that time when they were in full color. That was cool. :P

(Well, that's what you get asking for praise...hrm....)

Okay...

I like the characters because they're weird, I like the story because there isn't one, I like the gags because they alternate between being funny and being strange, and I like the art because it just looks right for the comic. Yeah. You want anything more coherent from me and you'll have to wait until I do a review of your comic in the DNR.

:D

Oh, that's so nice of you... This is just what I need right now.
"The juxtaposition of form and function wherewithin the corpereal embodiment of this one true, sacred, and pure form is simply an antediluvian spectre harking back to the very epitomy of architecture. I find your work striking...it has panged my heart to the basest metals of my soul.

Remember, simplicity, form, and soul are the keys to success in this field."

Harrumph! Personally, I find your "Hotel Grime" "webbe-comic" to be insulting to good taste and decency. It features grotesque characters, no story to speak of, and is frequently un-funny.

I suggest you turn your efforts toward a more socially responsible and rewarding trade, such as ditch-digging.

Please stop sullying our fair "Intranet" with this artistic abomination immediately.

May God bless you and keep you.
Of course, I'm the one that isn't JP Sloan or Jim North.

To that, I say "Pish-tosh!" - not so much because I know what it means, but because it sounds cool

Pip, pip, old beast!

Jolly good strip, jolly good. Better than a kick in the knickers, whot-not?!

BTW - The 'color' strips are not THAT good. Perhaps the significance is lost on me as I only see in black-and-white like most border collies my height and age. ARF!

Kevin is the only one who can act like that as much as he want. He used us to that. Now if I'd say something like that, I bet at least five people would take it seriously. (oh boy, that's what wink smiley is for)

This thread should'a been called: The Strike Ego's Again.

And as for Hotel Grim, I like it because it's different.
