For some strange and inexplicable reason Tap Water here in good ole London isn't all that bad! At least in the Richmond & Twickenham area of it all... Probably because the Richmond council's so rich they can pipe it straight from Sweden.

MmMMmm, crisp and clear and full of Vikings... ... possibly...

Yar, back home we had fantastic water. All from resovoirs and such. Here...I don't know how they made it so bad, but they did. Eh. At least it's not like out west, where every time you use water you drain that aquifer a little more.

Over here on PEI, the tap water's actually fine to drink. I use a filter, though, because I don't like the taste of chlorine when I'm drinking it.

mmm mmm chlorine... part of your daily dose of halogen elements.

I know in some places water is not only chlorinated but also flourinated, to improve dental health. The effects of this are questionable since many people don't drink water.

Salt is iodized, because a deficiency causes retardation. Bromine is toxic (though its cool being the only liquid element at room temperature), and astatine is radioactive and manmade.

I live in a city that crosses two states lines... THis last election they once again voted NOT to flouridate the water. I want htem all shot for being stupid.

I used to live in the city that had the cleanest water in Texas... Mmmm goodness.

And I've lived in an area where the water was so soft an alkaline that I'd rather drink Pepsi Blue.

Meanwhile, I'n drinking tap water RIGHT NOW. Spooky, no?

Hey, don't knock the Hudson! I caught a huge mutant catfish in there once! Well, almost... it broke my fishing line.

Nah, I think they just use some arhaic cleaning system, so it remains some salts that give it a taste.
