So freakin happy!!

Post by Odd1 »

So here I am bragging about my current happiness :D

1) Tomorrow I'm going to see one of my favorite bands in concert

2) Today was the last day of school. I'm school-free for a whole week! (= more time for tooning and making a submission for Keenspace Winter)

3) This is the first ever time I've accessed these forums on my own computer. After sharing one internet connected pc with both my parents for more than 2 years, this is a dream come true 8) This is also the first time I've seen these forums through a 1024x768 resolution instead of 640x480...

cripes Liz, you gotta crank that baby up to 1280x1024, it's the only way to go!

No no no, you should set your screen res to 6x45 and get a 800x600 Medium format camera.

Oh wait, is it the other way round?

Cool beans on the break, Liz, good to be happy. Have you been listening too much to the demented Pere Ubu song?

Ya freaks, I've got a friggin one week off and going on a hike to rural China as a photographer the next. That means lugging 10 lbs equipment and being killed off by exhaustion!

I live in a 1024x728 res because my mum has bad eyes and won't let me set it any higher... and it really hurts because the computers at school are at 800x600 but because I'm like the only computer-savvy person at my school I'm always put on the projector computer which is 640x480. *shudders* People who voluntarily have their computer at a res that small should be shot.
And I too am happy because I got ADSL on Wednesday! w00t! Now my internet is faster than my hard drive!
And I got a queen-size bed on Tuesday!
And I found out I'd be getting $1,160 in December for doing the graphics for a computer game! And if it sells well, I could get anywhere up to $80,000! Yay! *dances*

Haha, post here saying you're getting money. Congratulation, you have just won the envy of (dare i say) every single person here. Money is scarse in the pockets of a cartoonist

What kind of video game it? Can we see the graphics you did? I'm curious.

If I were to throw description of the character I currently plan to be using in "Weirdism" at you right now, you would fully understand why it is I want no relation or similarity to them whatsoever  But yeah, I've heard a few times now that I'm weirder than any of my previous characters

Hell yeah!!! If you look at a site in 1280x1024, and then look at it in 1024x768, you'll wonder why you never changed it before!!!

...it also helps if you have a good video card.

Heee. the 'odd1' on the forhead for some reason reminds me of the Wu symbol from 3x3 eyes. Only, er, odd. Well, I'm amused, anyway. ;}

Congrats on your own computer. Sharing can be a real pain and a half.

*grins* Sorry, it was an obscure anime reference. I do that sometimes. I think it may be contageous, too.

I thinks stuff like that takes a bit of research to be contageous, but who knows?
