Yes, but I don't think it would be quite as beneficial for Devon to sell EVERYTHING as you might think. First of all, he doesn't HAVE that much stuff, and the most valuable things he owns are his guns and his computer, two things which you'd pretty much have to pry from his cold dead hands to get him to part with.

Devon is doing this with faith that, if it's God's will, then God will provide, which I am also confident of. And if it's not... God will at least not let him wind up in the gutter, you know? I believe that firmly.

So, I'm not worried.

I've given him tips on how to survive a Pacific Northwest Ra--I mean Winter, so don't worry.

The neat thing is, he's moving closer to meeeee! Woo. We threw some plans up into the air before he left about visiting...since he's a ferry ride and a drive away... so, if he does make it across the border, I'll take goooood care of him, you watch.

UPDATE!!!!

Well, I talked to Devon today....

He's doing okay, not great, but okay. He was very tired, having not slept in 30 hours... heh.

He wants to thank you guys for your prayers and support, though they haven't found anything yet. Please, continue to pray that God will open the right doors and keep him safe and on the right track.

Um... I guess that's it for now. Further updates... whenever he calls, I guess!

Yes!
I have talked to Devon, I talked to him a bit tonight, actually...

They have an apartment, and are more or less moved in, now, but they still don't have jobs, and won't even have phone service until Friday. Internet may be even longer... Um, I guess that's about it.

Devon seems to be doing all right, though a bit apprehensive about the futuer...

But yay! He's got a roof over his head, so that's good!

Not more then it is said in the news, and that's not much either.

Sears has free AOL disks down here so he might check where he's at. At least it would be something till they can afford better.

Last I heard he was headed for Seattle and yes it is famous for the Space Needle.

Okie, I am using temporary Juno that will last me for like... five seconds, so I can only post something real quick here: First off, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for everything. Just... knowing you guys miss me and have been praying for me helps SO much. It gives me the confidence to do the things I need to without worrying about it. Thank you.

Secondly, as Gloria said, I am in a very nice apartament in Federal Way, we've got a bit of money coming in as my father is working freelance and there's lots of job opps for him, though he's using my car. I just got the plates changed, so I feel like not so much of an outsider. I guess there are many police/sheriff's deps that are hiring around and I found that a Lt in the King county SO lives in the complex, we've been talking, he's really cool.

So, I must go right now, thank you all so much, as soon as I get DSL or a steady dialup I'll be in touch and catch up on stuff! God is good!

We've got a crew dog now. A Black Lab just showed up on the porch, waiting at the door, so we let him in, and he acts like he owns the place. *shrugs* We'll feed him and see if he wants to stick around.
