I read your comic and what impressed me most wasn't the writing or the art, but the characters themselves. Especially that two headed bunny thing. :P The humor in some of the strips is just not understandable, and in others it's not universal. I would recommend reading a lot of other gag comics (if you don't already) and picking up on what kind of jokes are universal (without copying gags) and what kind of jokes could easily be made universal with some edit work. Yeah, that's about it.
Please, nd, do not attempt to make your humor more "accessible". I like Hotel Grim exactly the way it is (although I miss the actual "strip-style" strips...I hunger for panels!). A joke does not to be all things to all people to be good. Hell, it doesn't even have to be a joke.

Keep doing exactly what you're doing (except go back to drawing strips :) ).
Of course, I'm the one that isn't JP Sloan or Jim North.

Don't worry Kevin, I'm not gonna change the humor in the comic. Look at the post above yours. And the strips return in October for the first LONG arc of the strip leading into Halloween.

I posted my desperate plea before noticing that you'd already assuaged my fears.

A story arc, eh? That'll be something to see.

My comic stinks, no bones about it.
Is that so?
