Hmm. You went in full color for this one. I'm a bit iffy on the art for this one. The colors just seemed a bit too bright and I'm on a darkened monitor (due to age). I like your monochromatic stuff because it establishes mood better and I have a big thing regarding contrast which do so nicely in black and white.

Was this hand colored and scanned or did you use painter classic with the water color tool?

Still piss funny. Pun intended.

There was, admittedly, a certain dark creepiness to the greyscale strips. But churning out tinted greyscale strips week after week was taking its toll on me.

I was looking at the few character portrait strips as well as the guest strip by Freddy and after doing last week's Buck Cake strip I decided it was time for change and so I've decided to go with colour.

I'm using Painter Classic's watercolour brush to colour the comic right now. It's faster and cheaper than using real watercolours to do the strip.
I'll be trying different colouring techniques until I find one I like, but I am rather partial to the organic feel of the watercolour brush.

Well I like it.

A lot.

not to mention colour DOES allow jokes like mr invisible penis to work properly.

I'm glad you're going to color, though I don't particularly like the technique you used. Also, am I the only one who has no friggin' idea who Mr. Invisible Penis is?

You have to play the games... then you'd know.

Reminds me of a conversation with a friend of mine, who's married to a Japanese girl. "Sure I love her, but it's hard to see what I'm doing with that damn mosaic in the way!"

Yes, I knew this strip would separate my readers into the "ones who have played hentai games" and the "ones who have not and that only one camp would get the joke. Kind of like the Buck Cake strips. If they knew what bukkake was they'd get it. If they didn't they wouldn't.
