Your comics!

Post by ZOMBIE USER 10963 »

I was wondering. On my links page, I list a couple of comics I read, but there are some I didn't list because of space or not having a button *coughRazicough* or other reasons. So, I was wonderng... how many comics do you all read regularly?

I read 15. Wowzers. I'd list them all if my brother didn't want me to get off the internet. Stupid dial-up connection. I'll be back!

Hmm. I would read 2-3 on a regular basis, assuming those comics updated on a regular basis. ;)

Most days I don't feel like putting up with reading comics over my unbearably slow modem connection, so I tend to wait for days when I'm in a good mood and have lots of freetime (or have very little freetime, but am making a concerted effort to procrastinate) and read comics in batches. Since there are about 60 comics in my favorites list and I'm as likely to hunt down new comics as read ones I've already found, I tend to be a very spotty reader.

Entirely too many...

37 at last count, if I'm not mistaken, and on a regular basis at that

I seriously never expected to see Elf Only Inn in any of these lists. *happy tear*

I read a lotta comics... not necessarily consistently, tho. Some of these are:

24 1/2 Water Street
Rugg
Rick Saturo
NetherOak
Paragon Fishing
Sacred Pie!
Cup of Suffering
Sidwood
Trevor is Silly- I mean, Small
Sara and David
Goats
diesel sweeties (Great lines like "Jesus helps me trick people!" and "Aren't you too young to be retired?" "I'm retired from PORN")
Force Monkeys
Sinfest
Fat Jesus
Hound's Home
Elf Life

(edit: I read Elf Only Inn obsessively. I can't explain why. Maybe it's because I am a sad, sad man)

I actually don't read a whole ton of comics... here's the few strips that get to be in my Pantheon:

? (a.k.a. Ashfield Online)
Real Life
Cup Of Suffering
Mythocorp
BoxJam's Doodle

And I also read these, but not as often:

Soap On A Rope
Jersey
Paragon Fishing
Dirk Crimson: 8 Bit Detective (I used to read this strip ALL THE TIME... but the writer got lazy and stopped updating. Bastidos!)
Politically Correct

Most big-time political cartoonists have their own sites, so I read those all the time, too. I'll spare you the names, but these are among the papers they write for: The Washington Post, the New York Times, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the San Francisco Daily Examiner, etc.

Now's time to become nice and depressed; nobody reads my comic.

Understandable, though; it stinks. 'Sides which, I'm doing it for me, so why care? 8)

I read Sluggy Freelance, Mixed Myth, LOLM, Rose Tinted Lenses, Evilish, and Wings of Change. I would read Acid Reflux if they'd get off their butts and actually update it. Frankly I wish LOLM and Rose Tinted Lenses updated more frequently, but... Ah, well. I might read others if they catch my interest, but that depends.

Thassit.

I go through the archives of comics then leave it at that.

You're guaranteed a return visit if I've read yours!

Ah... I knew this would come around one day, and no surprises I'm not in anyone's list ^.^

Hummm, a quick count reveals 65 comics in my Faves, I've read all of them ( except Jamie & Nick, that archive is bloody scary ) and I read about 58 of them on a regular basis. Errrrr, I'll list a few of the top ones shall?

Shaw Island
Class Managerie
Ozy & Millie
Diesel Sweeties (not so much these days)
Poisoned Minds
Sabrina Online
Schlock Mercenary (haven't read in a while after I started lagging behind on the story, must catch up someday)
The Suburban Jungle
Blue Canary
Basil Flint
21st Century Fox
The (mis)Adventures of Team V
Striptease
Framed!!!
Fight, Cast or Evade
Purple Pussy
Lizard
Cigaaro & Cerveja

And the list goes on, and on, and on...

You can never have too many comics. And if you think my list's bad, you should hunt down El_Silly. 200 I think was his last count, he scares me...

I used to read a whole bloody lot... then I let them all slide over the summer, and now I'm still trying to get my reading schedule back in line.

However, I never miss an episode of Zebra Girl. http://zebragirl.keenspace.com

Another favorite is Fire Always Makes It Better. http://www.eccentriclines.com/famib//autokeenlite.cgi

Now, let me see if I can recall my old list...

Odd Jobs, Ozzie and Millie, Schlock Mercenary, Avalon, Exploitation Now, The Parking Lot Is Full, The Devil's Panties, Absurd Notions, Japanese Beetle, Krazy Larry

dammit, there were more...

Oh well, anyway... Zebra Girl, FAMIB - 100% pure goodness (PLUG!)

you're welcome

Essential! These are essential comics that everyone should read if they want to be as (un)cool as me.

Absurd Notions
Animenifesto
Bite Me!
Cat and Girl
Electric Orange
Ghastly
Kagerou
Kevin and Kell
Kung Fool!
Mac Hall
Maze of Death
Mermbut Comics
Owen and Glen
Penny Arcade
Phoenix
Pillars of Faith
PvP
Sinfest
Sluggy
Something Positive
Stubble
Tang's Comic
The Journal Comic
Zebragirl

Used to read a lot more too and they're all still on my favorites list. I'd visit some more 'spacers but I'm too lazy and your gag comics all start looking alike to me.
