And Saundra says....

Post by WolfFur »

What do we have to do to find out what Saundra was whispering? I place my body at your disposal as a down payment....

I second the motion. "What is thy bidding, my master?" I must know!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllll...

What Saundra said, as you might suspect, was *nearly* innocent. The really *naughty* part of the story was to happen well after her words faded into blackness. I don't recall the exact details of what I actually typed, but it was something to the effect of Saundra and Jake being at once very drunk, very tired, and very, uh, stimulated. I think saran wrap was originally involved.

I didn't actually type the story in full, because I don't actually *know* the story in full. Let's ask Saundra:

"Hey, S-"
"No."
"Aw, c'mo--"
"No. I'm annoyed that you even let as much slip as you did."
"Awww."

Okay, we'll try Jake:

"Hey, Jake, would you mind telling me about the night Saundra's describing on panel three of today's comic?"
*blushes so hard he nearly becomes catatonic*

OKay... Looks like they're not talking.

I called alternate Liz, but she just hung up.

Au contraire, Saundra is a prude. Anything which violates her sense of modesty must be hidden or covered up by her. This does not stop her from being a fuh-reak in private, but she is absolutely priggish about the subject in public or anywhere outside her own bedroom.

When you mentioned Saran-wrap? several ideas of what could have happened popped to mind. However, it quickly narrowed down to one when I started thinking about what would cause Liz to want to take a bath in today's episode and Jake, who is normally so liberal with sex talk, to sieze up in a fit of self-conscience. How quickly the mind turns to scat.

Y'know, I asked Jake about your sugguestion, and he just laughed. So that might be wrong. (Although the laugh DID seem a bit nervous..)

However, I think there might be another possibility to his dual behavior. Jake, as some may have noticed, is bi-polar-sexual. His kinsey number tends to slide towards his current mate. When he is in a relationship with a man, he is unnerved by his heterosexual feelings, and vice versa. (The best hint we get of this is the poor boy's reaction to Rick's female body.) Maybe, since he's with Rick now (and for the forseeable future), talking about any of his encounters with Saundra might push him over the V-E-R-Y low "Jake panic attack threshold".

Or Andrick might just be right. I HONESTLY don't know.

Just had a thought.

Upon Saundra's return to the normal (and I use the term VERY loosely) UH universe.

Saundra: Whew. Good to be back. I think... Where's Volair?

Volair: (in higher-pitched voice) I'm baaack! Rick's machine's still there, so I was able to make the switch! Now will you do that thing you wanted to do if I were female?

Volair walks into view as a female.

Saundra stares with eyes narrowed coldly.

Volair: Um. You wouldn't happen to be this universe's Saundra, would you?

Saundra nods.

Volair: I was afraid of that. Drat. -sigh- Back to the lab.

Volair: You sure you still don't want to try what the other Saundra suggested?

The next panel is rated P for Painful.

Volair: Worth...-gasp-...a...-huff-...shot...-gurgle-...

I like it too.

It's complex, quirky, and offbeat, just the way Umlaut House should be.
