Comic for 2 Jan: starting the year off right!

Here's what I figured: Jackie has no clue where she is, how far from home she is or how to even start going back. As far as timelines go, I figure that cabin (complete with running water and electricity) probably took them an afternoon to build. I'd say sleep now, figure it all out later.<P>Besides, it keeps her mind off the heavy stuff that was going on before she was kidnapped. Seems kinda weird, to me, how Jackie seems to have 100% accepted that from now on she'll be living with the Dannys (Dannies?). It just seems like it went from being kidnapped to having decided to settle down there, which seems really weird to me. Why didn't she just run off when they were all injured from trying to build her a cabin? Why would she put so much effort into building herself a house if she intended to leave and get back to her home as soon as possible?
This just seems... really odd, to me. Oh well. Guess I should probably just shut up and enjoy the punchline of the strip. c.c;; x.x

(I would guess it could,in fact, be worse- I mean,they worship Danny Elfman's work with "Oingo-Boingo" after all, rather than being some F---ed up form of fundamentalist Christianity...) Jackie will get out when it's time... I'm sure of that. (Maybe she'll have to get out by "Burning Down The House", or some other form of "Weird Science") Who knows..?<P>------------------
