Heh. Weird Science. Now that's good watchin'. ^^ It's amazing how they found someone that looked so exactly like the one guy in the movie when they did the series. Or, whatever. (Brain on reserve power, no sleep in long time.)
I'll also take this opportunity to mention that I've always found the outfit Jackie's wearing here very attractive; the black long-sleeved shirt under the basketball jersey. I think part of it is the color scheme, when the strips are colored, it has a very appealing set of colors to it. For another, it just has that sort of comfortable-but-not-... not... dang, can't find a word... ah, found it, comfortable-but-not-grungy feel to it that seems to fit Jackie very well... er, personality-wise, I mean, besides literally.
------------------

Well, I recall a cartoon ghostbusters, which I watched because it was between two other things I did like...neither of which I recall at the moment. Stupid memory...

TV series based on a movie, bleh. Okay, I admit, I barely recall the three or four episodes of the Weird Science TV show that I did see, but I'm pretty positive it has more to do with repression than basic forgetfulness.
While I'm sure that somewhere out there exists a series based on a movie that isn't an utter disappointment, I am not aware of it.
Can't say I really noticed the outfit before, but you're right, it is pretty cool.

I kind of like it, though I'm not sure why. It is kinda disjointed and jerky, but it sticks to you. It gets extra points because Joan Jett has done a cover of it.
-Zodo

Doc

I meant the one that was called "The Real Ghostbusters" and had Slimer as a sidekick and dealt with everything from Bigfoot to the Boogey Man, and was pretty risky at the time. If I recall, the movie came out before the cartoon, because Slimer wasn't a sidekick in the movies and the cartoon didn't have the actor's likenesses because they wouldn't allow it.

I used to watch that show religiously. I thought the angsty relationship they invented between Janine and Egon was delightful.
...
I was a WIERD kid.
------------------
